Gunn in Lybster

My third great-grandfather, Kenneth Campbell died in Lybster, Caithness, at the ripe old age of 90, in 1883.  On receiving his death certificate, it indicated that the death was witnessed by "his son-in-law John Gunn".   I was surprised by this because I did not have a Kenneth Campbell daughter who was married to a Gunn.  Any of you Gunns out there, might you be able to shed some light or do you have a John Gunn who married a Campbell girl in Caithness?  Kate Fraser

looking at the IGI for children robert , margaret , and ann would seem to
confirm mother ann gunn's maiden name was campbell , about the right age
and birth place
could be worth a look at the 1867 marriage certificate

      this is not my family, but I have been working on the tree of a friend.
Kenneth Campbell born Durness Sutherland c1793 died 2 Jul 1883 Smerlie, Lybster married Janet Sutherland 26 Feb 1818 Latheron.  children I have found John Campbell b 1819 Latheron, Charles Campbell b 1820 Latheron, Johanna Campbell b 1823 Latheron, Robert Campbell b 1824 Latheron, Robertson Campbell b1826 Latheron, Donald Campbell b 1828 Latheron.
Kenneth Campbell 2nd marriage 30 May 1834 Latheron to Margaret Henderson b 1802(dau of John Henderson & Ann Bremner)  children,
1.Ann Campbell b 1836 Latheron d 15 Feb 1916 Village of Lybster Caithness, married 25 Jan 1867 in Lybster Free Church, Latheron to John Gunn b 1841 Latheron d 28 Dec 1909 Village of Lybster.
2. Kenneth Campbell b 1839 Latheron   3. Janet Campbell b 1843 Latheron.
