The census return is

Resident of house number5 in Tonell North (Glenkeel, Fermanagh)
Francis Meehan 62
Catherine Meehan 56
plus 5 of their 11 children

I don't have the marriage cert myself, I was in touch with a distant relative of my wife's and he provided me with the information that Catherine's father was William of Drumanane (his spelling)

Could it be Drumeanan?  Drumeanan Beg +  Drumeanan Mor are 2 townlands in Leitrim near Fenagh.
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

There are two townlands named Drumanure in County Leitrim.
One in Carrigallen Civil parish, the other in Rossinver Civil parish.

My earlier post about Drummuckler townland was based on the fact that 1856 Griffith’s Valuation includes an entry for William Cassidy, Drummucker townland in Carrigallen Civil parish

At the 1911 Census the family were listed in Boho Civil parish, Toneel North townland, Glenkeel District Electoral Division, County Fermanagh.
For the location of Toneel townland visit

The Irish Discovery Series road map 17 shows Drumanure townland at the Southern end of Lake Melvin - map grid reference 935 492. The maps are readily available worldwide at specialist map retailers.
Toneel North townland is in the vicinity of 105 475 on the same map. It is NW of Enniskillen town in the direction of Drumanure townland.
Irish research is very expensive. I suggest you don't pay for Irish research until you know how the system operates.

Thank you for a most comprehensive response, further information was received and I can confirm that William Cassidy married Margaret Carroll on 23 July 1855 and had 8 children including Catherine Cassidy.

I have a list of her siblings and quickly located two on the 1911 census in the townland of Drumnarane in Fermanagh, which probably explains the discrepancy in the original town name I was provided with.

Patrick and Philip listed above are two of Catherine's brothers
