RC Church, docklands, Hull

Hi

My ggrandmother was born (certificate), Baker (Or Barker), St, Blanket Row, Hull.  Early 1860's.

The baptism, if there was one could conceivablybe in the Roman Catholic Church.

I know I hjave the birth certificate, but anything's possible with this family, so I'd like to try and pin down the baptism certificate and any extra information.

Could any one tell me please, what the most likely RC Church would be, and where the records are?

Also, am I right in thinking the Parish Church would be Holy Trinity Hull?

one of my husbands rellies was also baptised at holy trinity church and one marriage in 1874 says marriage solemnized at hull in parish of holy trinity beautiful church as well

Thank you.  I think that confirms about the C of E Church, but my bet is on the Rc one.  I can't imagine one that far into the city. 

I spent two years in Hull, but  - naturally - I didn't find out about my ggrandmother Mary Ellen until after I moved.  I think I remember Holy trinity being a large quite elabotate church - from the outside anyway.

The Holy Trinty Church is C of E and stands in Hull City Centre in the old market place:...It's beautiful and can boast an appearance by Sir Clff Richards not long ago.i

HI EMMS BAKER ST ISNT IN BLANKET ROW  THE R/C CHURCH IS ST/CHARLES YOU ARE LOOKING FOR WHICH IS OPP CHARLES ST. NOT FAR FROM BAKER ST.

That was a nice surprise after all this time!

Actually I made a mistake - it's Baker or Barker Court, not reet.

That's brilliant to know though.  I just have one great grandmother born in Hull,  so hopefully I might get a look up at the history centre without breaking the bank, now I have a very likely church.
