Trying to establish the death age of Harriet Tanner died sep 1/4 1855 new forest reg district before ordering cert.

i am not positive about this but i think you can specify they only send you the cert if the death age tallies with what you think it should be
i think there would be a small charge for this

Have you traced her on a census, or tried looking for a will to see if she left one, that would clarify her age.

My gt gt grandmother Harriet Tanner died at Lyndhurst in the New Forest 24th July 1855.   She was born Harriet Scammell 17th February 1818 in Burley, New Forest.
She was the wife of Robert Tanner.  Their youngest daughter Elizabeth went to Australia.
