Help finding Keartons
« on: Monday 11 January 10 23:07 GMT (UK) »
I'm hoping someone can help me contact Superwhite as it appears he hasn't logged onto RootsChat since Oct last year? In 1 of his posts he mentions a Basil Kearton of New Zealand who has assisted him in the past. My mother is Margaret Kearton born in Cleator Moor (my research indicates that Basil's family was born there also) so would like to make contact with Basil to see if he can help me with my tree.

Does anyone know Superwhite?   If so, could you ask him to contact me via Rootschat please?

Many thanks, Steve

Hello Steve and welcome :)

If you stick another couple of posts on the end of this thread you will have 3 posts to your name which will entitle you to use the Rootschat personal messaging ("PM") system.  In other words you will be able to contact other members by clicking on their username or the little green scroll to the left of their posts.  The relevant member will receive an e-mail notification that a PM has arrived and with any luck the member you wish to contact will log on so as to be in touch with you.

Alternatively you can add a reply to any post of his and again he ought to receive an e-mail that a reply has been posted to a thread he is "watching", but this runs the risk that he may have switched off notifications on that particular thread.

Hope that makes sense!

Anna :)
