I noticed this in my local 'Your Somerset' newspaper today and thought it might be of interest to anyone researching in Somerset this year.
From January 2010 the existing Obridge Rd Centre will be closed on Mondays to prepare and pack for the move to Langford Mead Norton Fitzwarren (just outside Taunton)
From 6th April 2010 to 5th July only records on microfiche and microfilm will be available as all the documents are moved to the new Heritage Centre.
From July 5th until September 2010 the centre will be closed whilst all the documents are moved to the new Heritage Centre.
Telephone and email services will continue to be available throughout the period of moving as will staff help.
