Where can I go for name lists of the 78 regiment of foot? 
It is stated on Neil MacKay's marriage document that he was a Corporal in the 78 regiment of foot in 1817 when he married Jean Aitken in the East Church Parish of Perth.  By the time his daughter Williamina was born in Perth in 1819 he was listed as merchant.
