Whilst visiting St Athernase Church nr Leuchars in Scotland,I came across an interesting headstone for the above gentleman who died at sea with others in St Andrews Bay 1848.I have a photo of this together with some of the church and a few other headstones. If they are of any use to anyone, I will happily send them by email.
I now also have a photo of the newspaper article reporting the incident, from St Andrews' library, which I will happily email.No F/H, but of interest.
