website - old London maps
« on: Wednesday 13 January 10 23:06 GMT (UK) »
Hi all - was just rummaging around on the web (as you do) and happened upon this interesting website -

http://www.ph.ucla.edu/epi/snow.html

It's the UCLA Dept of Epidemiology...but is "is devoted to the life and times of Dr. John Snow (1813-1858), a legendary figure in the history of public health, epidemiology and anesthesiology" ....

but don't be put off ....  it has lots of old maps and photos of London, and info on  landmarks, events and a lot on medical history and cholera in particular.

It is really interesting. ;D
