marriages *completed*

i have a wiiliam wall from marksbury somerset who married a sarah chesterTON  from twerton bath ....
i have found a marriage (cant find any others with sarahs name) 1854 bath somerset 5c1253 june qtr...
their first child henry was born 1855 so it does work out
but her name is written as sarah martha chesterMAN....
is it possible they have got the surname a little wrong when it was copied from cert ?
i know i will only know for sure if i ordered cert
just wondered what you thought

Hi Dee, i think you are probably right. if all the other details are correct it would be worth sending for. you could always specify exact details on the request - if wrong person it would not cost so much.

just spoken to my mum
 who in turn got name chesterton from elderly family member years ago..
mum had chesterman as ? and it is the correct name ....not chesterton
