1850 birth cert .

is it possible to find a birth for 1850 I have his marriage cert  and would like to find out more about him and where he came from  he was my ggrandfather.

Pretty doubtful.    There were a few years to go before registration of births, marriages, deaths (BMDs) came in in Ireland

To find details on your ggrandfather's birth you will need to search for a church baptism record. To do this you will need to know which parish he was born in.

I believe that Waterford library has some parish records (or transcripts) available to search..

regarding our last chat re/ my ggrandfather I have his death cert the address on the cert was the matthew shea institute his wife was also there i would be grateful for any help regarding  this institute  the year was 1927thank you for all your help...

I had a search for the Matthew Shea Institute using google... but have not found anything.

What are the location details on the death cert ? i.e. county, registration district etc

This would be the Matthew SHEE Institute, Bath St., Waterford City. It was originally an almshouse built c1870. The building is now sheltered accomodation for the elderly. It is  run by a board of trustees - the Matthew Shee Charity as far as i am aware.

shane the matthew shea institure was in bath street waterford the year he died wasjune 1927  that about all is on the death cert sorry i cant be more helpful.
