Free BMD has a marriage Jun Q 1864 Newton 11b 349 between a Hannah EVANS and William HOPKINS

There is an Ann Elizabeth Evans birth registered Newtown Sep Q 1860 11b 215.  This one appears to be 9 months old in 1861 with parents Richard & Martha Evans.  Another Ann Elizabeth Evans was registered Mar Q 1861 Newtown 11b 218.  I can't find her in 1861 at the moment.

Thanks very much for that. That looks like the most likely Ann I have seen so far. I did suspect that being illegitimate or adopted may have been a possibility as there was no record of any Ann Hopkins in Montgomery for the period. As far as I know, Ann had a son, probably with Robert Lewis Lewis, called William Hopkins who was born in 2/3 Jan 1882 according to info from his granddaughter. However there is no birth record for him, but there is one for a William Evans in the Jan quarter of 1882.
