Thanks for all the replies I did not expect such a quick response, thought I might get a few people looking at it
I will start to try and answer the questions for all the replies in this post
Anna
The Fathers occupation was a labourer
I am presuming that George Wilkinson was a brother to Sarah as he was one of the witnesses’ on the marriage cert, but as you say he could be any relation or non at all.

The Crawforth family at Number 19 you mention are the ones we are looking at Johnson and Sarah..
The Crawforth Family at Number 20 Flinton grange is Johnsons Father, Benjamin Crawforth.
Looking at the Wilkinsons from 1881 and 1871 census ties in with the marriage cert, these look like who we are looking for.
Many thanks to all
It was a long night last night I do not know how I missed them. Only started this 5 weeks ago so have a lot to learn on searching etc, thanks to a family bible we have got on well with the Crawforth side. We still have a few Births mentioned in the Bible who we do not know where they fit in.
The first post by lizdb says about the 2 families at Flinton grange, in one of them is Ethel Wilson, granddaughter. Still got to find where that one fits in. also mentioned in the bible is her sister Sarah.
A few families are showing as coming from Ireland in the first half of the 1800s. I cannot seem to find anyway to search for them. Is there anyway to do it as I read a few posts that the Irish Census results for 1901 and 1911 are just getting put online, but these may be to late for the people we are look at.
Thanks again
Tony
