hello looking for the children of samuel winters born 1740 married to a sarah haylock,all i know they had one daughter called kezia winters she was born in 1764 and was married to a thomas smith they came from the therfield area.

IGI submitted entries has the following children with parents Samuel & Sarah Winters

Kezia Bp 25 Mar 1764
Robert Bp 8 Feb 1767
Sarah Bp 15 July 1770
 - all baptised at Therfield

There is also a marriage for a Sarah Winter on Herts Marriages
Sarah Winter married Samuel Hale 27 Oct 1793 Therfield
I don't know if this was Sarah, dau of Samuel & Sarah.

It's best to check the original Therfield Parish Registers to confirm these entries.

A Jane Winter married Jacob Hale 18 April 1750 Therfield

Could Jane have been the sister of Samuel Winter?

Could Jane & Jacob Hale have had a son, Samuel Hale, who married his 1st cousin Sarah Winter??

Hi Carol,

I found and can confirm the four entries at Therfield as given by Di in her first post.    The only additional info I can give are the witnesses - Robert WINTERS and John BILTON.
