Could someone help me please.  I am looking for the above person on all census's.  I will give you the information that I know.

Caterine Jones born Jul 1876 married Owen John Williams born 1874-1970 they had 3 children.
H A Williams ?born
Gwilyn E Williams born 1907 married Katie Jones born 1918 Cwm Pennent
Jenny Williams born 1910.

I dont really know what I am looking for as I dont know the places in Wales.  Also when the name is Owen John, does it come out on the census as John Owen, reverse the names.

Owen John Williams born 1874 parents were Owen Williams born 1844 Brynker married Mary Williams born 1853 at Cwm Pennent.  They had another son Humphrey born about 1879 and I have been told he married Ann Catherine Williams. Is it right that the woman has the surname as the man she is going to marry.

The surname Williams is very common in Wales.  Just because a couple had the same name does not mean they were necessarily related.

Only trouble is that the likeliest 1901 census for Owen shows he is married to a Mary.  Perhaps he was a widower?

There is a birth reg at Carnarvon for a Gwylm Eiddior Williams Sep Q 1907 vol  11b 394. 
Also birth for Jenny L Williams Dec Q 1911, Carnarvon 11b/686 mothers maiden name Williams

I think the mother's maiden name (for the right Jenny) should be Jones

Jenny/Jennie could also be a pet name for Jane, so she might be (for example) this one:

Obviously there are hordes of Williams births in the area to choose from, so impossible to pick one with any confidence without more info.

Hi Everyone

Thank you very much for all your information. Unfortunately I dont have any certificates.  I know Gwilym and Katie Jones had 1 daughter, but I dont think I can give you her name as she is still living.  If I can give her name just let me know.  I know this daughter married a Risley in 1962 Caernarvon.
