Gravestone of William SOPER 1766 - 1831
« on: Thursday 21 January 10 04:03 GMT (UK) »
I just found the death date of WILLIAM SOPER and the next step is to find his gravestone.

B Oct 19 1766 St. Newlyn East
M Mar 10 1800 St. Newlyn East to ELIZABETH DAVIES
D Aug 7 1831 St. Newlyn East

His residence at death was TREVEAL.

How do I find out which cemetery he's in?

.The record has been transcribed by Michael McCormick the Cornwall OPC for Newlyn so why dont you get in touch with him and ask which register he transcribed it from.

There may not be a gravestone as not everybody had one. The CFHS has transcribed the MIs for Newlyn. Michael might have those in his resources too.

Good idea. I contacted the Cornwall OPC and am awaiting a reply!
