Hi there. i have been searching online to find archives for papers like the NZ Pastpaers and the Australian Nat Library have got. Can anyone shed some light for me, many thanks. :)

There are "The Times" digital archive, 19th Century British Library Newspapers, and 17th-18th Century
Burney Collection Newspapers, available on line, but you have to subscribe or belong to a subscribing institution such as a library.

It's a subscription site, but very useful if you're following a story

If you live in NSW free on-line access to above papers if a member of the State Library. Easy to join, but must live in NSW as that's where they send the membership card number to so you can log on..

thankyou lovely people. Les I live in NZ and want to find any little titbits on my great grandfather. He was a photographer in the mid 1880s. His name was James Edward Bruton.
