Hephzibah- thank you very much. I am in no rush at all, considering I am where I am, I am grateful for any help at all, and to have a look when you are next at the RO would be simply wonderful. Thank you so very much!

Pat- thanks for the website, will have a hunt, but it seems I am back far enough that much of what I am looking for is not on the web...which is a unique experience for me!! This is the farthest I have got back apart from one Scottish branch!

Hello Samuel was my 8th great-grandfather and am still researching. An article from Evangelical Magazine 1853 Sep gives details of three Rev Samuel Wood. You will be interested in Samuel Wood no 1. Here is a link.
