Quakers and other None Conformist groups
« on: Friday 22 January 10 17:27 GMT (UK) »

Hi,

I have found a couple of my ancestors married in 1937 and 1937. They were members of The Religious Society of Friends.
Were these Quakers? And, where would I find records please? Liverpool Record Office doesn't have these records  :(

Thanks in advance,

Red   :)

Yes, Quakers are also known as the Society of Friends. A quick Google revealed a previous post on this forum which suggested Quaker records might be found at http://www.bmdregisters.co.uk.
