William Low Brechin

I have a family bible and inside William Low has signed it 28th September 1872
I think this bible came from my husbands grandmothers family
She was Margaret Lyall b 1872 and came from Edzill
I have this family ,she was the daughter of Charles Lyall and Jane Duncan
from Edzill Village Margaret Lyall M George Mitchell and the lived in7, Trinity Road  Brechin ( we made a visit there in 2008 )the house is still there

Could William Low be a relative

I'm wondering if the last one might be him

IGI has daughter Margaret born 22 January 1859.

Father - Willianm Low

Mother - Ann Duncan

So it looks as if she was maybe Jane Duncan's sister or  close relative

William Low and Ann Duncan married in Strathcathro, Angus on 11 July 1857

The writing on their marriage cert is awful but I see that Ann's parents were Charles Duncan, ag lab, and Jane Duncan, maiden name, Duthie.

What were your Jane's parents' names?

OK - answering my own question. I see that Charles Lyall and Jean/Jane Duncan married Fettercairn in 1859.

Jean/Jane's parents were William Duncan and Elspet Seivwright (?)   so Ann and Jean/Jane were not sisters - maybe cousins or some such

Yes the Trinity Road William Low  must be the family
Margaret and George Mitchell lived in no 7(their were  my husbands grandparents )
all three of their family were born there and came South in 1913 to Northumberland
George's parents lived no 5, Trinity Road
