Murtagh - New Relative found today

I was looking at the 1911 census and found  my family in Ballisodare.  My Great Grandfather, Thomas Murtagh was a Constable there then retired to Ballymurray, Roscommon.  I learned today that there is another child born to them....Michael Joseph Murtagh age 17 in 1911.  When I went to Ireland in 1999, I met a gentleman that knew my Murtagh family.  He had mentioned that there was another boy in the family that wasn't quite right  in the mind.  I never heard this before from my family, but now I know there was Michael.  I wonder if he was born with a disability.  I think I find his death @ age 37 in Dublin.  If any of this sounds familiar to anyone, I would love to hear from you!.
