Hello again Nigel,
I was thinking would there be a seperate index for suicides ?, and also I am not having much luck looking for the death records of a cousin, her name was Jean o. f. Brown she was born in Bournemouth 1929, she married a John Seaford in 1959 in Bournemouth and I know she died either in Bournemouth or Sussex but I cannot find any details of her death.
I would be grateful if you have the time,
Many Thanks Gill.

Gill

It looks like Jean O F Seaford remarried in Gipping Suffolk in Dec 1968.
I won't name her new hubby here as I can't find a death for him yet .

Jean Olive F Reeve, DOB 21 Oct 1929 died in Ipswich Suffolk in
March 1980 ref Volume 10 page 3024

Hi Gill

You have to be very cautious with how your proceed now because there are problems with asking for searched for those people who may still be alive.
Carol has come across some real good info for you and you may be better to share what you have with Carol via PM or be ready to do so should Carol ask you.
Its all about data Protection, maintaining privacy etc thats all.

I am not ware of there being separate lists of any kind being held for those who commit suicide. Ask your local church if that may be the case, then you know if it is any point perusing that line?
Sorry not being much help here?
By the way have tried Googling the name /location some times that can throw up random but useful info?

Hi
I noted that the thread was leaning toward living people and as Gill was 'new' I was simply trying to suggest caution to her if inquiring about living people -a fact she may not be aware of?
This in particular to the point you made where the husbands death was not found at that time.
You are clearly finding some useful info which she may - in the event - some one is alive or may be- have to ask for such info by PM. PM it self may be a facility she is not aware of?
I am putting all this as much for her benefit as I would not wish to teach any one to suck eggs, just hpoing to help some one!
