hi thankyou for all the info, i am a bit confused now , so which of the ladys wouled be be my great greatgrandmother as thay are both named mary is it mary hansford or mary grish , :)









reserching ,surnames shingleston, hawkins, jordan, hudson ,pout, blackman wetherly, epps, baker, port, porter, rowden.goodwin, whitehead colley church.dorgan, in kent

cave, hansford in cornwall,lee  in shropshire

If you check the 1881 census you will find a stepson surname Grish

John Cave married Mary Grish/Grist in 1869 in Wincanton so no question of daughter Mary Ann being adopted as she was not born until 1872
