Hi,
Using the family search site which Aghadowey gave I found a marriage in Ballymoney district Co. Antrim on Jul-Sept quarter 1890 in Vol 1 Page 159. I then matched Margaret Kane with this. Will attempt to find possible parents.

Regards
Stewart, Irwin, Morrison, Haslett, Murrell - Dungiven area Co. Londonderry
Browne, Barrett -Co.Armagh
Neil, Smyth _Co. Antrim

Thank you all.
Bear with me..I am unfamilar with Irish sourcing.but have patiently worked my Scottish folks and proud to say with sucess.
This Irish line is important to me..My Hugh was a special man..

Townships???
Poor relief???

Margaret Kane was married firstly to a Benjamin Anderson widowed before marrying Hugh senior..any info on Benjamins death would be
of interest.any if any issue..think there will be.pre 1890.

Hi,

The Benjamin Anderson marriage occurred on 1 Feb 1886 in Ballymoney Church of Ireland. Following from that I found that Margaret Anderson married Hugh Mitchell on 11 Jul 1890 in Ballymoney Church of Ireland.

Regards

A bit extra. Benjamin Anderson Died Apr-Jun 1888 Ballymoney age 23. Vol 1 P103

It always helps if you give us the information you already have before we start searching records for you.

Margaret Kane was married firstly to a Benjamin Anderson widowed before marrying Hugh senior..any info on Benjamins death would be
of interest.any if any issue..think there will be.pre 1890.
Death- Benjamin ANDERSON Apr./June 1888 Ballymoney registration district volume 1 page 103.
Irish death certificates do not contain as much detail as Scottish ones- will not list spouse (although spouse might be listed as informant), parents, birthdate or place, or parents' names.

Townships???
Poor relief???
Ireland is divided into townlands and the same Scottish records such as Poor Relief are not as easily found here. See ANTRIM RESOURCES for information on townlands-
www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,369573.0.html

I have a baptism record for Hugh.for AUGUST 1893 address is Drumahegis but his birth was 27th April..
parents are named.
The townland is Drumaheglis which is west of the town of Ballymoney near the River Bann. What church did the baptism take place In? this is important for finding other records.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
