POW Records WW2 Stalag VIII-A

Gorlitz,Saxony,Germany.Details as follows:
John Myles Francis Crayton.
WO 2,Royal Artillary.Believed to have been camp leader.
Any idea as to where records would be please? Have basic information from Ancestry but would like to know how to view these records and if any exit diaries exist.
Any information or help would be gratefully appreciated.

Myles, the Red Cross Reports held in the National Archives always record who was Camp Leader at the time of a visit.
Perhaps you could look through WO344/77/1 and check for a Report that may have been made when he was Liberated.
