Possibly, but I have not got round the checking all of my James 1815's Uncles yet and a James doesnt appear.

James Field, of full age, Bachelor Labourer of King Street, Rye, son of Benjamin Field a Labourer married Mary Milham, Minor Spinster of King Street Rye, daughter of Thomas Milham a Labourer.
Witnessed by Edward Gorrings, Sarah Field and F S Dengate.

I cant find James & Mary on 1841.

Is it possible soon after James got married he joined the Army for a while?

On the 1841 ,James Field,M,aged 20,years are rounded up on the 1841,not of County

Cavalry& Artillery Barracks,St Mary Northgate,Canterbury.

Thank you very much for taking the trouble.

Its possible that he was in the Army, the younger childrens birth certs all say Agr Lab, but worth keeping in mind. At least I his parents etc to play with!

I did not have the witnesses from Benjamin's marriage to Sarah Weston, nor did I have the last four childrens baptissm, just a round up of ages from the 1841 Census, so I should be able to track them now. Thank you very much.
