This is the other photo I mentioned, this is the young soilder's wife. I would be greatful if you have some time on your hands to improve this photo, her grandson had this to say about the photo. Thank you.  ;)

My Grandmother, Jessie McIlwraith (nee Brannigan?), taken around 1917-1919?
I wonder if it was taken at the same time as the picture of my Grandfather, as the two pictures are very similar in quality and lighting...?
