Noting your interest in Buckney do you have all the baptisms 1847 to 1892 at Angle?

I have all my Buckney relatives up to it is possible to get them ( I understand that the majority were destroyed in a fire)

I do have a Abra Buckney and I think this was the earliest on my list.

One of my relatives Richard Buckney was school master in Angle.


I am from Angle and it is a real pain not to be able to find out where they originated from.

I sincerely apologise, I had no wish to intrude or meddle with your research. I have no problem with the Buckney family in southern pembrokeshire circa 1729 to circa 1900. I can only presume your problem lies pre 1729.

Do not apologise you have done nothing wrong. I  would love to find out more about the Buckneys and how long they lived in Angle etc but there doesn't seem to be any chance in that ever happening. Any info gratefully received though.

Sorry for delay in reply, a very quick and very brief over view of what I have, in my view the Buckney family set up camp in Angle circa 1824 probably one James Buckney and resided there on, at least upto circa 1900, a quick look at LTA’s back from ’24 will give us an exact date and may add George somewhat earlier. Prior to this there appears to be a line in my own transcripts back to circa 1729.
