A burial in September - but what date please?

Welcome to RootsChat and thanks for your information.

I also thought that the date was the 2nd of September but this gentleman had written his will on the 10th September of the same year so I assumed that I had his date of burial incorrectly transcribed.

That really puts a spanner in the works  :-\

Looks like I'd better recheck his will  ::)

Thanks for the clarification Livio.

I was beginning to think that my ancestor had worked out how to write his will from beyond the grave  ;D

At least I now know that everyone agrees he was buried on the 22nd.
