I am looking for the marriage of William Barnes to Elizabeth - all I know is they had a daughter Ann Barnes baptised in Ardeley in 1753 - all I can find is marriages to for a William to a Sarah, nothing to an Elizabeth. Is it possible he wasn't married or was he married before. Its very unusual for them to only have one child.
Any help on finding more info on William or Elizabeth would be great as Ann is my direct ancestor.
