Clark Tyre

Hi,
This may be a silly request but I am wondering if anyone has any information in regards to a Tyre Factory in Kent, possibly called Clark tyre, that was operating between approx 1912 until when WW1 began. I've been given info that my great grandfather, Ernest Clark, travelled back to England with an 'invention' in 1912 where he started a Tyre Factory. When WW1 began he was forced to close and moved to South America to start the factory again. Anyway, if anyone could help in regards to the factory or Ernest that would be great. thanks.

P.S, it appears he may have remarried after my great grandmother returned to Australia with the kids. I believe the wife's name is Myrtle Johnson.
