To some extent,it depends on the burial date. Some cemetaries get full up and others open to replace them.

There's more,Jane:-
All except the 1943 burial are probably recorded at:-
Rose Hill.
Cantley Lane,Doncaster.DN4 6NE.
01302 535191.This is the local crematorium and cemetery. There may be a charge for researching.
Hyde Park cemetery closed for burials in c 1960,unless someone in the family aready had a grave.
However Rose Hill also has their records.
Good luck.

Malone...Cheshire & Lancashire.Boswell...Bucks and Hunts.Lister...Yorkshire and Lancashire.

I am looking for my great grandmothers burial site. her name was Doris Bradbury & she died on 14/02/1930 in St georges nursing home in Doncaster. I have done lots of research & know how she died & her death record info just not where she was buried. my granddad was only 2 when she died & is now 84 & I would love to find where she is for him.

Thanks Sarah

Hi

The lady I spoke to was called Kate, I think Hyde Park was the main one before Rose Hill

Good Luck

Hi,

I am looking for the burial record of
Robert Mulholland, died 11th. December 1964 in Doncaster (possibly at 227 Wheatley Lane?).
Thanks.

Also is there any local newspaper that might have the death notice in it?  Cant find anything on British Newspaper Archives.
