Whitehaven baptisms
« on: Monday 01 February 10 05:25 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone please help with these births/baptisms, all I have is information from the census's showing Ruth Million b1808 Whitehaven and Joseph Million b1821 Whitehaven.  I have tried Ancestry, Family Search, Find my past with no luck.  I have no idea of the parents names.  I have found Ruth's marriage to Thomas Dowson in Hamsterley, Durham on the Bishops BTs in 1831 but no parents are mentioned there either.  Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Anny,
Family Search shows two Josephs on 1881 census, both born Whitehaven.

That's the same chap mentioned twice.

1861 and 1871 give his place of birth as County Durham.

1851 has four MILLION households on one page headed by

Thomas 73 Durham Cockfield
Joseph 30 Whitehaven
Thomas 25 Cockfield
Jane 65 Cockfield
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.
