Hello, looking for any information on my grandmother, Alice Fogarty, b. c.1885  Co. Tipperary. Married Richard Dowling and moved to Dublin and from there to Liverpool.

Do you know about searching Irish civil records on Family Search?

There is a marriage on there which looks like your grandparents.
Dublin South July-Sept 1909 Vol 2 pg 697
You can find it by searching for Alice first and then Richard and the details correspond.
You can send for the marriage certificate to http://www.groireland.ie/  and you would get fathers' names and ages.
Similarly, you could look for a birth for her on same site.

Have you found them on Irish census 1911- they are there http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/

PS I see you have found them on 1911 (Richard's post) so you could follow the advice given here which Shane has given much more succinctly.
