What was his fathers name and occpation on the marriage cert?

There is an 1851 CI census entry for an Alfred Vincent b 1850 father William was a Chelsea Pensioner.  However - Alfred was b Guernsey not Jersey

If you can confirm fathers name I will post details

His father is stated as Joesph Vincent Deceased and was a builder.

I found a Peter Vincent in the 1861 shown as Grandson living in Jersey  bn circa 1852.

I found a possible for his newly married parents Joseph bn circa 1825 a stone mason and Ann nee?? bn circa 1825 both born St Hellier cant see either of them in the 1861 but the household where Peter Vincent is there is a possible for his mum bieng Ann but she has been mistranscribed for her surname.

You will need to check for a marriage between Joseph Vincent and Ann (possibly)Cayzer but see below

This is the full 1851 entry
Quote
and Ann nee?? bn circa 1825
Ann was born c 1831

Francis Vincent 60 carpenter b St Peter Jersey
Susan   60
Peter 28 mariner b St Helier
Joseph   26 mason b St Helier - married son
Ann  20 b St Helier dtr in law
HO107 Piece 2529 Folio 166 Page 2

and in 1861

William Cayzer 79 widower gardener b England Southampton
Jane M Cayzer50 dtr widow b St Clement
Ann 30 Cayzer g/dtr widow b St Helier
Peter Vincent 9 g/son b St Helier
Ann Ingram 17 g/dtr b St Helier
RG9 Piece 4407 Folio 76 Page 12

If Ann is the daughter of the widowed Jane M - their surnames may not be Cayzer

Got the following from the St Helier baptism register

7/7/1822
Pierre son of Francois Vincent and Susanne Viel, born and baptised 7/7/1822, presented at church 19/2/1823
Godparents Pierre Vincent and Nancy Le Caudré

31/3/1826
Joseph, son of Francois Vincent and Susanne Viel
Godparents Thomas Fallaize and Nancy Le Brocq

So these are the ones on the 1851 census.

These are from the St Peters baptism registers

22/11/1790
Francois, son of Francois Vincent and Marie Vautier
gp Monsieur Jean Pipon and Dlle Jeanne Le Breton de la Hague

2/5/1790
Susanne, daughter of Helier Viel and Louise Ballaine
gp Edouard Ballaine and Susanne Hubert (his wife)

I have also found the reference for a birth of an Alfred Vincent between 25/6/1851 and 3/7/1852 in St Helier. I'll check that one out next time I'm at the Registry Office
