Looking for  Turneys Londonderry 

especially Sophia  and John   Brother and sister born approx 1843 Father Thomas...
Sophia and John moved to London before 1861 maybe all  the family don't know...They were Protestants almost certainly..

Any help or suggestions please

There are two more items in addition to the denomination which you mentioned. These are ...

1. Parish
2. Townland.

You'll have to rely on Church records as civil registration in Ireland was not introduced until 1864. Non Catholic marriages were registered from 1845 onwards. When registration for BDMS started in 1864 some people didn't bother with the registration for a few years after that date. Keep your fingers crossed that church records still exist.
