Hi.
My grandfather, Michael Brohan emigrated to New Zealand in the late 1800s. His birth in Ireland was never registered but I have some information on his family who were farmers in Cloonusker near Ennis. His parents were Thomas Brohan and Kate [nee McNamara] and his siblings were Denis [born in1853], James [born in 1860] and Mary whose birth was never registered either but she shows up on later censuses and passed away in 1944. James married a Mary Callaghan from Bodyke in 1917 when he was quite old. I have a copy of the death of all the above but can not find a death record for James or Mary. I have written to remaining McNamaras in Cloonusker but have not received a reply. The Clare Heritage Centre has given me all the information they have. Am hoping someone knew of my ancestors and can provide more information
