James Carson ,present at death

Hi from Spain

I have a death cert for my uncle, John Edward Lunt(Paint Manufacturer) died Antrim Mental Hospital 1947.

Present at death was a Jams Carson.

I know the Carson family are connected with my family and also The Bate s family.
The only Bates names I have are from a funeral ledger for my grandmother ,Margaret Eleanor Lunt died 1956 and buried with John Edward( her son ) in Antrim.

The ledger states that flowers were provided  by  MR and MRS James Bates, and  Jacqueline and Patricia.

Does anyone know these families.

Any information very welcome.
