Another appeal for old photographs - this time of Shieldhill House, Falkirk from the 1890s.  If anyone has any pics of this property I would be very interested to see them.

That is very kind of you but unfortunately I do not know whether the house still exists.

The last record that I have is that my ancestor, William Neilson, was living there at the time of the 1901 census.

Was it in the village of Shieldhill (which is parish of falkirk) or in Falkirk town, do you know?

I think it was somewhere in the Polmont to Shieldhill area but am not certain about this.
