Looking for the birth of Rachel about 1848. Have collected most of everything else.
Married John French 9.6.1871 Duffus.
She lived in Rafford.
Parents John Williamson Horse dealer and Isabella McIntyre.

1881 Census Born Duthill Inverness-shire address Seafield in Forres.
1891 Census Born Grantown Morayshire address Coulartbank in Drainie
1901 Census Born Elgin address Coulartbank Cottage in Drainie

Death 26.10.1929 age 81 in Easter Greens in Drainie.
Parents John Williamson Horse dealer and Jane Williamson  ms ----------

As you can see the place of birth is different and so is the mothers name.

Have been on to Scotlands People with no luck.
Really need help can not go any further without her birth and her parents marriage.

I suggest that you need to find her in the 1851 and/or 1861 census. I have looked in FreeCen but she isn't there, so it will have to be on SP.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

I have checked Scotland's People with no luck. I have found a few in the census for those years but can not match them up, everyone seems to be a boarder or a servant.

Hi french and Forfarian,

Rachel was working as a dairy maid at Burgie Lodge, Rafford, in 1871. She was 22 and born Buckie.

In 1861, she is a domestic servant for Peter McDonald, a farmer of West Crannach, Cromdale, Invernesshire. She was 16 and born Buckie again.

Can't easily see her in 1851 - going to keep searching! :)
