« on: Sunday 14 February 10 09:20 GMT (UK) »
David French joined 6th Batt Seaforth Highlanders in 1908 did his training in Burghead any information on the place or a picture would be great or point me in the right direction. Also he was discharged from the 1st Banff General Hospital in 1915 any info would be great.

You might find that Grampian Health Board Archives have information on patients in Banff. However I don't know if the 100-year closure rule would apply, in which case you'd need to wait another five years to access them. The GHB Archives are at Woolmanhill in Aberdeen.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

According to his Pension Record, Lance Corporal David French from Drainie was discharged from the 1st Scottish Hospital, Aberdeen in 1915, suffering from Raynauds Disease.

Loads of stuff on the net about Burghead.  Try:

I'm not sure what military trg would have gone on there.  It's quite a nice wee village - let down in my opinion by the eyesore that is the maltings - with a load of history.
