Marriage look up St Peters Bolton 1940 Please

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to find the maiden name of the lady who married a WALTER COLIN HAMER.
They married 27th November 1940 in ST Peters Bolton.
Her christian name was MILDRED .
Can anyone find her maiden name for me please ?

I will just add that I always knew WALTER COLIN HAMER by his middle name of COLIN and I now wonder if MILDRED was a middle name as I cannot find the marriage.

Walter Colin Hamer is my great grandpa, he passed away 6 months after I was born, its so interesting to see people know about him

Your Grandma Phyllis and I are cousins or perhaps second cousins , I never can work these things out .
My father was Robert Lesley Sims ,Led . He had a grocers shop in Bury .
I didn't know you were interested in family history . I have done a l oh t of research over the years but don't do as much now .
