No obvious Clemo'sand variaations tjat would match  (1 only) in convict records to Australia just thought I'd look as sometimes this was a cause for persons falling off teh map

This is a tough one  :( Not even a Sophia Sophie marriage to a Matthias Matthew that looks anything at all near.
The only interesting thing I found was at www.distantcousin.com/other/nepabio   Click on C and read about a Matthew Clemo b 1831 son of a Matthew Clemo and grandson of a Matthew Clemo.  (The grandfather fought at the battle of Waterloo!)

Oh yes, one other thing that may be useful - CuriousFox- free to join.  There is an offer on there to look up marriages in Fowey, Cornwall pre 1837.

I just read that and found out it was about a Matthew son of JOSEPH and grandson of a Matthew.

However take this with the info about a baptism  I found in Bodmin in 1793 for a Matthew son of Matthew and Ann and I think this may be the same family.

I have never seen this info from Pa before so it is def worth a further investigation.

Did the parents go there I wonder??
