My great-grandfather was connected with ostrich farming in the 1880s. around the Cape Town area. Are there any records available which would help trace him? His name was John Pickersgill bn. 1855, in England. Lived in South Africa from about 1874 until his death in 1897. Any help would be appreciated. Jazgran.
