I have just found one of my relatives maiden name was Toft, Lucy Toft b Shelton, Staffs c 1806. I was wondering whether anyone else had an interest in the name  ??? ( I'd love to be able to link her to the sculptor Albert Toft  ;D - worth a try!!)
