We are trying to complete to date a Haines Family Tree which includes amongst other family members:

Field Marshall Sir Frederick Paul Haines 1819-1909 C/C India
Robert Haines Surgeon and President of Indian Medical Institute 1821-1868
George Haines 1845-1902? son of Christopher and Caroline (nee Flintoff)
Charles Haines MA Writer on this Haines Family 1856-1935
Eva Bell (nee Haines) 105 (the oldest so far)

John Haines (W Sussex) moved his family to Bramfield in @1812 where they bought a farm, subsequently run by his son Christopher and wife Caroline. Theere they bought up 10 children.

We shall be pleased to hear from others bent on the same task
