How can £42 be justified?

Unfortunately the information in the newsletter is not quite correct, with regards to Scotland its actually 13 GBP per person not household and you have to provide information about the death of the person such as date of death and if they died overseas, a copy of the death certificate.

I understand that a living person who is shown in the registration data can gain access under the freedom of information legislation for at most a nominal sum.
