Dating postcard please

Hi,

Sorry I don;t know if he had a brother. It is definately Jack. Bottom right written in pencil Jack. My nan was brought up by a Jack and Florence Prewett.
I just have photos of a family we knew nothing about, until my nan died.

Nellie Prewett has written on the front of the postcard, as me. On the back my nan has written on the back, in pencil.

I'm also confused. This is obviously from mother to son Mr J Prewett but she signs her initials as possibly JD. Did she re-marry or was she mother-in-law?

Looking at those initials, it doesn't look like any of the other J's so it could be an F and the second one either D or W, ie. FD or FW.

Hi Colin,

I thought it was FW. Still cannot find them on the census. Or if Jack is he's name or middle name. If Nellie is short for Helen.
Do ypu know where the hotel is? If it still exisists.
I appreciate any info given, if only little.
