Info: Excellent Welsh-language book

This book, if you can find it, provides a lot of information about family trees in North West Wales, and Montgomeryshire .There are one or two errors, slips mostly, and discrepancies , but overall its a wonderful help . Strangely enough, almost all the families are rural in origin.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the older book.
I think the author did publish an earlier book giving details of wills in Eifionydd, but I'm not certain.
There aren't all that many references to Anglesey, if any , in Mr Ceiri Griffith's book.

Before I rush out to buy

Unfortunately the book is, I think, out of print; a decent Welsh library should have a copy in the reference section. The author, T. Ceiri Griffith, published the book himself in 2003 and it was printed at Y Lolfa press (I think Palas Print are booksellers rather than publishers).
It is indeed a treasure, and although it overlaps J.E.Griffith's book geographically in part, the author restricts his tables in general to the period from the mid-1600s to the present day; where his subjects are recorded earlier such a connection e.g. to J. E. Griffith's book is clearly marked. A few years earlier the author published a collection of Caernarvonshire wills.

Hi, Huwcyn, does this book cover Ynys Mon,   Anglesey please?  I have noted the other book mentioned and will look for that one.

The bulk of the family trees do seem to come from the Llyn Peninsula and Eifionydd. In truth, only three of them mention Anglesey at all, though there might be individuals who've married into others.
