Hi, I've also found a few Brimble families that Charles could belong to....but absolutely nothing concrete!. So I've just kept all my notes on file (just in case!).
When Charles was sent to VDL in 1827 - he stated that he was married with 6 children. As I have 10 kids listed for him and Esther - there could have perhaps been one other (as Charles may have been in transit from the UK to VDL - Esther may have been pregnant??) - could belong to him:
So either he couldn't count or he forgot a couple of kids!. The two ring-ins would be Matilda (bc 1827) and James (bc 1832).
Another interesting piece of information I found was that Isaac Brimble & Isaac Parfitt were convicted of being in a sheep stealing gang. Isaac Parfitt's mother was Hester Brimble (daughter of William & Mary Evans). Probably the Parfitt's were cousins??. Another piece of information to hold in my notes file.
I'll have a look at your Ancestry tree.
Kind regards
